You do not need to wait beside your phone waiting for the next job because you know that your agency is dealing with a large number of clients so, once your finish your current assignment you will be assigned another one right after.

The exclusive contract means that you cannot get work through other agencies and you cannot get representation by other agencies. In some cases, this could be a good choice. For example, if you are a part timer, you would not mind signing such contract because you are not so keen to work every day. This means that you can easily find a place there but on the other hand, this also means that they have a short turnover rate. Make sure that you are dealing with the right agency or you will find yourself unemployed quickly. If you are good in fashion modeling then you won’t face problems in sticking to one of the top modeling agencies but, if you are not that good then it is a wise decision to stay away from exclusive contracts.
