what is the best way to put together a resume for a modeling agency and such and what all should it require.
I am also wondering if there is any acting AGENTS not agencies..I could contact about a movie idea. thanks. <3

For general career information: http://www.bls.gov/oco and can search ‘models’, ‘actors, producers, and directors’ or such.

Just as an everyday person, I would think that the resume should include pertinent information about your past experience in acting/theatre and/or modeling or such. With theatre, you may be able to get more experience through the local community theatre (or local college).

For general tips on resume and cover letter writing (and please remember to always send a cover letter along with a resume since the cover letter briefly expands on the resume) and interviewing tips: http://www.careerbuilder.com and can click ‘career advice’ or such.

Please also keep in mind that if an agent asks for money upfront that it is a definite scam. These consumer sites have many posts about those modeling schools such as ‘john robert powers’, ‘barbizon’, ‘john casablanca school’ and others: http://www.ripoffreport.com and http://www.complaintsboard.com and can search.

As you may already be aware, the acting/modeling industry is supposed to be extremely competitive and that most people deal with a lot of rejection and still may not even be able to break into the biz

I am meeting with a modeling agency and I was thinking I should just wear heels, dark wash jeans and a tank top, but I’m not sure. Any thoughts?
Also I know I should go natural regarding makeup but my skin is not perfect; anything I should do about it?
And is it okay if I wear simple flower stud earrings?

first impression is everything! i think what you picked out is great! but it would be best if the heels were black.
makeup should be natural, wash your face with warm water in the morning.
and about the earings, i wouldnt go with them.
