I want to be a model. I have had contracts in the past but my mom would never tell me when they would call. I want to do this it is my passion. What would be a good modeling agency to go through. I heard that if you have to pay for anything then its a scam.

If they are interested, they will not charge you for anything. They make their money by booking you on jobs and taking a % of your earnings

There are lots of agencies that are not scams. If you are in the US, try Elite, Ford, IMG, Wilhelmina, Trump, DNA, Women, MC2, Marilyn, Click, Next, Major etc

In the UK, try Storm, Nevs, D1, FM, Next, Models 1, Select Model Management

All of them have websites that give details how to become a model – whether by sending in photos or attending an open call. If these agencies are interested in you, you won’t need to pay anything for photography, to be listed on their website, or anything else. And they won’t make you pay to take classes.
